Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts (I-IV)
NIN released their new instrumental album Ghosts today, 36 tracks for $5. You can get it from their site which is having serious stability load issues, or as I recommend, from Amazon's mp3 download here: Ghosts I-IV.
On a slightly related note, Amazon now has an album downloader for Linux. I worked for me, but it did require a couple python libraries to get the ubuntu package installed. I'm assuming then that it is written in Python.
If you have problems getting it installed on ubuntu or debian, try:
# sudo apt-get install libboost-python1.34.1 libboost-date-time1.34.1\
libboost-iostreams1.34.1 libboost-signals1.34.1
# dpkg -i amazonmp3.deb
As for the album itself, it is firmly planted into the experimental realm. Very ambient, industrial, mellow, and weird. So far I like it, but I'm only through the first 10 tracks.
