They used to let you pick a default site and would only present you a list of others when that file wasn't on your default mirror. Unfortunatetly I think they broke that functionality just to show more ads. Maybe it's time someone come up with a new open source project manager that has a cheap subscription model. I'd pay $5 per month for some ad free access to files. Maybe even kick a small portion of that money back to the projects I'm downloading. That’s geting damned annoying too.

How hard would it be to just randomly select a mirror, or better yet, track down the physical location of my IP address and link me to the closest mirror based on that?
